Privacy policy

This describes exactly what the code does. Nothing more is collected than what is listed here.

What is stored

• Waitlist emails. If you submit the form, we store the email address, the time you submitted it, and which page it came from. That is all, and it is used only to notify you once when tracking your own apps is ready. It is never shared or sold. Ask and it will be deleted.
• Public App Store data. The dashboard stores App Store rankings, app metadata and public review text collected from Apple's public endpoints. This is data about apps, not about you.

What is not stored

• Keyword checker history stays in your browser. Searches you run on the keyword checker are saved in your browser's localStorage and are never transmitted to us or written to any database.
• No accounts — there is nothing to sign in to, so no passwords or profiles exist.
• Nothing you type is sent to our analytics. Keywords you check and emails you type are not passed to Google Analytics as events or parameters.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to count visits and see which pages people find useful. It is loaded on every page and it does the following:

• Sets cookies in your browser (named _ga and similar) to recognise repeat visits.
• Records page views, referring links, and general device and browser information.
• Derives an approximate location from your IP address. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses, but your IP is processed to work that out.
• Sends that data to Google, which acts as our analytics provider and processes it on its own infrastructure and terms.

If you would rather not be counted, browser tracking protection, an ad blocker, or Google's official opt-out browser add-on all prevent it, and nothing on the site breaks when analytics is blocked.

Third parties

• Pages are served by Cloudflare, which processes request logs including IP addresses as part of delivering and protecting the site.
• The keyword checker queries Apple's public iTunes Search API directly from your browser, so Apple receives the search term and your IP address, the same as visiting the App Store. Nothing about the search reaches us.
• Graphs load the Chart.js library from the jsDelivr CDN.
